‘GET COOKED was a group show exhibited at Trocadero Projects. Featuring emerging artists from different cultural backgrounds, the exhibition explores community through food and the unspoken traditions of sharing a meal with others. Highlighting the individual artists’ upbringing and practices, the show unites one of the strongest bonds with culture as a diaspora: food.’

Drawing from Chinese-Malaysian patterns and imagery, Caitlyn intersects film photography with cross-stitch embroidery to connect similarities of market and food culture in Malaysia and Melbourne.
